(Source: IMDB) Ebichu was one of the first anime series I watched. What makes this show worth watching is its extreme humour that springs form this set-up.
I got the DVD as a present and one dark and stormy day decided to watch it. For the first three episodes I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Warning to all American kids: Contains adult themes, watch this and be sued! Ebichu is best watched with an open mind and maybe a couple of friends and some beverages with alcohol in them.
Sound The intro song is cute and catchy, but nothing too fabulous. Actually, each episode is divided into many many short scenes which often has nothing to do with each other.
Unfortunately, OL and her unfaithful boyfriend, combined with Ebichu's uncontrollable exuberance and love for ice cream, often earn her severe and bloody punishment. This anime throws stereotyped hamster stories out the window!Ebichu is a talking hamster that keeps house for her master, who is an office lady, and is at what is considered the oldest a woman can get before losing all chances of getting a decent husband.Having recently dropped out of law school, where he had finished the graduation requirements but didn't actually graduate, Kintaro Oe is on a new self-driven quest for knowledge. Neither are suitable for younger viewers, but are definitely something that should not be missed by someone with a perverted mind. His adventures will lead him to a variety of workplaces including a computer firm, noodle shop, and even an animation studio, where his seemingly perverse attitude always tends to get him into trouble with the opposite sex. Both feature the successes and failures (mostly the failures) of a sexual relationship and how outside factors affect this. these two are a clear and easy recommendation for each other.
